Preliminary Budget Estimates

Acquiring Permits

Steps of Building Your Custom Home
From foundation to finishing, you will have the last say on every decision regarding your new home. Providing complete customization and limitless potential, you will be able to design the house you’ve always wanted.
Phase One:
Planning
With an emphasis on complete transparency, we will walk you through the plans for your custom home. Once we know we’re on the same page, these plans will be finalized and submitted to your local municipality for permit approval. Site tests may be required to test the environment to ensure the water, soil, and bearing capacity of the ground is safe and ready. This allows us to make any final adjustments to the building plans before construction begins.
Phase Two:
Foundation & Framing
To prepare the land for construction, our team will excavate and lay the foundations to keep your home even and supported. Once that has been complete, we’ll begin framing the structure. Acting as the skeleton of the home, this is where you see your new home take shape. At this time, smaller details such as the flooring, cabinets, and tiles can be explored.
Phase Three:
Interior & Exterior Trim
This is when the details truly come together. After the framing of the home is built, both the exterior and interior walls, as well as the roofing are assembled. And all doors and windows are installed as quickly as possible to protect your home from the elements. We will also lay the basement floor and start the electrical and plumbing services.
Phase Four:
Finishing
Your house is one phase shy of becoming a home. After our team insulates the exterior walls and roof, we will install the drywall to apply the finishing touches. The walls and ceilings are painted, flooring is laid, cabinets are built, trim and siding are applied, interior doors are installed, and all plumbing and electrical fixtures are put into place. On the home’s exterior, any porches, custom decks, driveways, and paths are built. After our final walk through to apply any last-minute touch ups, we will hand you the keys to your new custom home!
